04/22/06 | Denver, CO *new*
The show at Regis University was awesome, but everyone was soo far away from the stage due to "the drinking section" being roped off about 30 yards away. They had a rad trampoline/bungee jump ride that I regret not being able to indulge in, it looked really fun. Skyline played, which made the show that much more worth it, check them out if you havent already! www.myspace.com/septemberskyline -Bryce 04/14/06 | Scottsbluff, NE After having an amazing time playing at the underground in February, we just had to go back! This time we were even more amazed by all the kids out there. They were the first crowd out side of Colorado to sing along to a saving verona song. We saw lots of our friends we made from our last show there, and it meant a lot to see them all back again! Thanks so much for the support everyone, it means the world to us. -Bryce 04/09/06 | Aurora, CO Secret show! We made a stop at the anchor blue store over in the Aurora mall to play for a v.i.p. party they were throwing. It was an awesome time, during a fashion show, this kid wore all saving verona merch. I never thought i would see our merch on the runway, but hey there's a first time for everything! Afterwards we all went to TGI Fridays and I must say the atmosphere there is great, lots of awesome pictures and old toys on the walls! Thanks so much to anchor blue for having us at their store, and everyone in attendance rocking out. -Bryce 03/22/06 | Papillion, NE Thanks to our new homies in Haven 21, we were able to play the next date of The Prize Fight tour aswell! Although TPF broke the axle on their trailor on the way to the show, they still made it out, and the show was ready to go. "The Rock" was an awesome venue, thanks so much to everyone there that helped out with the show! The only bad thing was The Taste Of Chaos tour was in the same town, the same night, a few blocks down from where we were playing! -Bryce & Randy 03/21/06 | Denver, CO After nearly 3 years of waiting for The Prize Fight to come back to Colorado, the day had finally come. We were super excited about the whole line-up of the show. The show started off with our brothers September Skyline, and they put on an awesome set. I (Bryce) even got to come out and play on "Love Like Stars" with them, it was rad. Next up was our homies in Single File. Wow. They did amazing, but sure and check them out if you haven't already. The Prize Fight followed shortly after, and put on a flawless set. Then of coarse, we played too. :) It was an amazing turn out for a snowy tuesday night, thank you so much to everyone that made it out! -Bryce & Randy 02/18/06 | Scottsbluff, NE Even though we were skeptical of the "hazardous road conditions" in Nebraska (that turned out to be not so hazardous at all) we decided to tough it out and keep our word on playing the show. We definatly made the right choice, because it turned out to be a awesome night. Our friends in A Message For Madison brought us out there with Single File for a great show, and we all had the chance to hang out afterwards which was a blast! Bryce learned the theme song from Rocky (the Stalone movie... duh) on the harmonica and perfected it by the nights end. We found out that Runza makes some great food. Can't wait to come back and play again! -Bryce, Randy & Tommy 02/17/06 | Gothenburg, NE We were all super excited to be back on the road with our homies in Sept. Skyline again, and were ready to pay a visit, long overdue to Papa Groff's hood. Thanks so much for finding a place for us to play, and putting us up for the night bro, you rule. Before we got to the venue we stopped at a random gas station to fill up. Bryce saw a harmonica that he fell in love with, so he bought it and didn't put it down for the remainder of the weekend. The kids were absolutely wonderful and everyone had a good time, even if it was -17 degrees! Try licking your lips in those weather conditions, it's pretty fun. Thanks to Line Of Something for being a part of the show, it was well worth the trip! -Bryce, Randy & Tommy 02/01/06 | Provo, UT Starry Nights... Well the hotel we stayed in was really cool, there was a 24 hour indoor pool that we took advantage of, and of coarse a Contenintal Breakfast, that we unfortunatly missed out on this time. We were very happily suprised to see some of our friends from Denver at the show in Utah who happened to be in town. Apparently in Provo, to cross the street you have to carry a huge orange flag that are almost all of the cross walks. So instead of using them to cross the street, we brought one home with us as a souvenier! Good times... Good times! -Bryce, Randy & Tommy 01/29/06 | Denver, CO It was awesome playing a hometown show after 2 dates abroad. Even though it was sad to see sept. skyline play their last date of the tour, at the same time it made it that much more meaningful. In celebration of 3 successful tour dates together, Tasos from Skyline came out (topless I might add) to lend a hand on guitar during our last song of the night "Ben Lee". He did an awesome job, and looked great doing it :) -Bryce, Randy, & Tommy 01/28/06 | Ft. Collins, CO Don't believe the guy who says its hard to drive extended amounts of time on no sleep. Its easily accomplished as long as you get your free Continental Breakfast from the hotel. After Tommy found his missing shoe (which magically reappeared under "skyline"s bed) we were ready to head out to Ft. Collins. When we got into town we decided to hit up the mall. After going through all 10 stores, we decided to catch up on some sleep. The show went very well, all the bands did amazing jobs playing. We met some awesome new friends after the show that night too, thanks so much for the hospitality! -Bryce & Randy 01/27/06 | Scottsbluff, NE Lets start this from the very beginning. 5 best friends going on their first tour ever together as a band, having the time of their lives. The first hour of the trip went perfect, even the 30 minutes after that went perfect, but then of coarse... something had to go wrong. As we pass a state patrolmen pulling over another vehicle, we glance at the officer and oh boy, he was definatly glacing back. I think every single one of us in the truck recieved the "evil eye" from this guy, and sure enough 5 minutes later we were the ones being pulled over to the side of the road. Turns out theres some bogus Wyoming law about passing emergency vehicles on the interstate, so we walked away with only a warning. Now that we were back on the road we were even more anxious to get to Nebraska and have an awesome story to tell about the drive up there. The kids were amazing, and we met tons of new friends. Our friends in September Skyline, A Message For Madison, and Single File made the trip more than worth it. We walked away from our first "tour date" extremely pleased. Thank you to everyone who made the night special for us! -Bryce & Randy |
